A lone surfer leaves the water beneath a sky ablaze with red, orange, and gold. Bands of color sweep across the ocean below, transforming the Carlsbad shoreline into an abstract flow of light, water, and motion.
The ocean was digitally motion blurred to create its smooth, flowing appearance, blending photography and digital art while preserving the lone surfer and fiery sunset that inspired the name Fire in the Sky.
